Edward Gordon Craig letters and related materials, 1900-1978 (bulk 1900-1931).

The collection consists of eleven items, including: letter to Dear sir, 5 March 1900, accompanying an unidentified enclosure; three correspondence cards to Oliver Madox Hueffer, circa 1900, about The Page; prospectus advertising the fourth year of The Page, 1901; photocopy of letter to Mrs. Moscheles, ca. 1903, about his designs; letter to Fisher Unwin, 20 July 1904, stating no samples of cloth have arrived for the book cover, describing his needs, and mentioning how busy he is; photocopy of letter to Mrs. Moscheles, ca. 1904-1905, about his experiences in Berlin; letter to Mrs. Moscheles, 31 Aug. 1927, thanking her for a book, and mentioning how well he was treated in Germany; to Dear sir, the Editor of the Sunday Times, 13 Jan. 1931, asking him to publish a letter in the next issue of the Sunday Times. Also includes an exhibition poster, "Edward Gordon Craig. An Exhibition. From the Collection Formed by John Wesley Swanson, Northwestern University Library, May 15-July 30 [1978]."
